My latest order review....

I currently own 8 pair of Rayban sunglasses, prescription glasses, and newly purchased prescription sunglasses. Over the years I have lost count of how many I have owned over my life. Early on I only purchased them from AFFES. (Army Post Exchange). Most of my newer glasses were purchased from the RayBan website. While the website does have hiccups often I’ve never had a problem placing nor receiving an order. I have never attempted to return an order because if they arrive and I don’t like them. I give them to a family member who does. My last order however was for prescription sunglasses. I received the order within two weeks but the communication was terrible. I didn’t hear anything for a week and when I did they were requesting a prescription that I uploaded at the time of the purchase. I sent the prescription again along with my pupillary distance and they contacted me two more times requesting prescriptions and pupillary distance. That was a bit frustrating because I was already skeptical about the type of lenses they would use and this shady communication had me wanting to cancel and use my neighborhood optometrist. Fortunately for RayBan I am not to pleased with her either. After receiving the glasses however I was blown away. The prescription sunglasses are unbelievable beautiful with thin beautiful RayBan lenses. The prescription in the lenses feel better than the $425-$425 lenses in the last two pair of RayBan frames from the lab my optometrist uses. Because RayBans lab did such a beautiful job I give the lab an A+ and the customer service representatives a F-. Especially the representative who responded to me during a chat session by saying: “If they asked for it again send it again or I can cancel your order”. Jac**ss that one is.

Fantastic Service!

I was in the store last week purchasing some optical glasses and was served by Richard. He was nothing short of fantastic! I bought a pair of Ray-Ban Andy's and had some issues with the lenses.Ray-Ban replaced the lenses and returned the glasses to me with free shipping both ways.Happy with the service!

I have worn glasses for many years and I have always wanted a pair of Rayban Clubmasters. They are the Clubround RB4246V. I ordered my specs and the assistant could not have been more helpful. My glasses arrived promptly and after my optician had glazed them with my prescription lenses, I put them on and was imediately delighted.My specs are my distance vision, reading glasses and reacting sunglasses rolled into one. They look and feel great to wear.I had a pair of specs in the past made by the Luxottica group which served me well for fifteen years, having been reglazed a few times. I loved them and I feel that these clubmasters, made by the same group will be the same. They are a well made and substantial pair of specs

Such a brilliant service

I purchased some sunglasses for a retailer, not direct from ray ban, over a year afterwards they broke. I rang the retailer who said they couldn’t do anything so contracted ray ban. Ray ban quickly repaired the glasses under a warranty I didn’t even know I had. Brilliant!

I placed an order just over a week ago…

I placed an order just over a week ago without reading up on reviews. After my order was placed, out of curiosity I checked the reviews.To say I was shocked, I instantly thought i was in for a ride, and as a fathers day gift I genuinely thought I was going to have to get a replacement of some kind because all was going to go pear shaped on this site. Yesterday I received my order, reluctantly I did finally open the packaging, I am so surprised but unbelievably relieved, as the glasses are lovely. I am so pleased with them, and just glad I have no reason to use customer services, however I am still weary and unsure if I would order off this site again, as I feel I was just lucky this time.

Good Experience

There are tons of reviews here to make one so fearful of dealing with ray-ban.com, although many are reporting dealing with fake websites. I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses in December 2018 to be delivered to my friend in USA and to my bad luck UPS delivered it to a wrong address and for many days I had no news, so I claimed for it with UPS and then Ray-Ban gave me a refund so fast (I was afraid they will be so late like many reviews here but they didn't). Then I got a promo in February 2019 and I re-purchased them and they arrived smoothly. CS in general were fast and friendly.The funny part is that after I got my new pair, someone dropped my friend the old ones with a note (He opened the package and kept it for 2 months until he delivered it back to my friend, however he apologized in the note for being late!). So we called them to ship it back to them :)

Had no problems

After reading all the negative comments I was scared to purchase my Ray Ban Remix through the site but I wanted them so bad, so ordered anyway. I had no problems at all. Delivery within 3 days (I'm from The Netherlands) whilst they said it would take 6 days to deliver. Only thing about the sunglasses is, I wish there would be more information about the glasses themself in the generator. I think they are pretty light for really sunny days (they don't mention a categorie of sun protection) and if you look through them they are green, instead of grey/black which it looked like on the site. But I'm happy anyway so go ahead and order.
