We stayed at The Travel Lodge Aigburth

We stayed at The Travel Lodge Aigburth. I always stay there when I visit Liverpool. As usual it was excellent. Really good value for money. The room was clean & the staff could not have been more helpful. The Receptionist even phoned for a taxi for me. The beds were comfortable & the room was clean. The water was hot & the towels were good sized bath sheets. I appreciate being able to park outside. Some of the woodwork in the hotel needs a little TLC but that does not detract from the rooms. Great value for money when all you need is a safe comfortable bed for the night.

Travelodge in Morley - a great stay

Booked in at the Travelodge in Morley, Leeds at short notice. We arrived around 8pm to be met by Bernadette. What a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble. She even found a iPhone charger for me.The room was spotless, cleaned beautifully by Rebecca. The bed was so comfy, I wish we could have stayed another night!!!

Had to call and then email for refund

HuhI booked their Alfreton location and paid in full on 26th Sept 2018 for a 26th to 28th July 2019 stay. I had to cancel on 9th July 2019 and was advised that my refund would be issued within 10 days. ONE month later I had to send an email asking where my refund is....the very next day my refund was processed via my paypal account and NO mention of the excessive delay or even a cursory apology issued. I won't even get in the fact that you can't contact them direct unless you call a premium pay number (BTW I'm from outside the UK so add Ireland to UK call charges on top of paying Travelodge for the privileged of asking where my refund was) and even then the agent I spoke to told me they cant do anything about it and I would have to contact them via the Travelodge website.UPDATE....After advising Travelodge of my trustpilot review and emailing them a copy, I have received an apology from head of marketing SaskiaIn short, I accepted her apology and reasonable explanation and therefore have changed my star rating to 3

Stayed at travelodge layerthorpe York. Have to say the staff where very friendly and helpful especially the very hard working Hilde The happy ‘hour’ between 5-7 is great, pint of Stella £2.50 and various other drinks is brill. The unlimited breakfast is decent value, as much food and drink as you manage. Overall good experience

Travelodge Birmingham Airport

We where very please with the service we got from the manager Amanda also the assistant manager Emma at breakfast time they seem to be mucking in bringing fresh food and plates out as well as speaking to all the customers. I wheeled my wife to a table with her being disabled then I had a talk with one of the waitresses Dawn explained I have a tremor condition and would she mind bringing Debra, s food and drinks for both of us. Dawn had a lovely smile on her face saying of course I will help you it is no problem and sure enough looked after us both as if we were royals as well as seeing to all the other customers needs as well as like Amanda and Emma bringing out fresh food clearing tables ect. WE feel that Dawn should be put in charge of training waiters/waitresses nothing is to much trouble for her we even saw her helping small children getting them their food what a lovely Lady both my wife and I gave her a big hug on the morning we left. As for the help in the evening we found this very poor a complete let down from the mornings. The food was poor and drinks were very expensive in the evenings and the service from the staff in the evenings was very poor. If we use this hotel for a second time we will only have are breakfast there and eat out in the evenings.

We have had another great stay at London Southwalk.The staff there are very helpful when needed, plenty of smiley faces.Breakfast was a great start to the day.Room was as expected comfy and clean.The assistant Manager Doris is very welcoming and there on hand if needed.

I recently gave a unsatisfactory review about Travelodge and their lack of any customer service when urgently required.The response from Travelodge Customer Services and inparticular Amy Norris was, swift and direct. Addressing my concern and with no hesitation, considering my type of reservation I received a full refund and offer to further reimburse phone costs accrued using their premium telephone number.Travelodge do back up the ethos regarding their customer service.Thank you

Stayed in Hastings. Wanted to compliment all of their lovely friendly staff from Reception to the bar to ladies doing breakfast.The pizzas were delicious, and we would have to give them 11 out of 10 !
